Rosenkranz Hall is the home of the Social Sciences and Global Studies. Designed by Koetter, Kim and Associates, the building is open and light and has multiple points of access.

The Gate the Studio designed for Rosenkranz Hall is in keeping with Yale’s tradition and manner of gateways. Located at the courtyard entrance on Prospect Street, the Gate responds to lineaments on the façade and allows looking into the passage and courtyard beyond. Its interlocking bronze rings visually symbolize the interconnectedness of international and global studies. The steel trellis is ornamented with fabricated and cast bronze details.
